Scene Creative is run by me, Jason Rae — a Jersey-based creative with over 20 years’ experience across websites, video, design, content and digital marketing.

Before Scene Creative, I worked in media and broadcast with organisations including Channel 4, Red Bee Media and ITV. That background gave me a strong foundation in production, editing, design, communication and delivering creative work to professional standards.

After leaving broadcast, I helped launch Scene Creative full time with a couple of friends, providing web, video, design and marketing services for a wide range of clients. A few years later we went our separate ways, and I continued the business independently — working directly with my own clients while also supporting other agencies and creative teams on freelance projects.

Today, Scene Creative gives me the flexibility to offer a broad mix of services, from website design and brand refreshes to photography, video, social content, Google Ads, Meta campaigns and ongoing digital support.

I work with local, UK and international clients, but my main focus these days is helping Jersey businesses improve how they look, communicate and generate enquiries online.

I enjoy working closely with local clients, getting to know their businesses properly and being on hand when they need support — whether that’s a website update, a new campaign, fresh photography, a social post, a printed brochure or a more complete refresh.

A lot of marketing problems are connected. A website might need better photos. An ad campaign might need a stronger landing page. A brand refresh might need new social graphics, print materials or clearer service copy. Scene Creative is built around joining those pieces together in a practical way.

Most of my work is handled directly, which keeps things simple and personal. When a project needs a wider team, I can bring in trusted freelancers and industry professionals so the right skills are in place without adding unnecessary agency layers.

That flexibility has helped me support everything from local business websites and content shoots to larger production projects, including international product video work and local campaigns for organisations such as Jersey Health & Community Services.

Beyond that - you’re not dealing with a big agency process or being passed between departments. You'll never be handled by an intern or temp, or handed off to someone who's filling in - you'll work directly with me, always, with the option to scale up when a project needs a wider team.
